Example LLC ("we", "us") develops and operates this mobile application and web service (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
By using the Service you agree to this policy.
1. Data we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate the Service.
- Account data — name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form), phone number, profile photo.
- Social sign-in data — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, profile photo and a user identifier from that provider. We never have access to your Google or Apple password.
- Technical and sign-in data — IP address, device and browser type, and sign-in timestamps. We keep this as a login history for security purposes.
- Push notification token — used, with your permission, to deliver notifications.
2. How we use data
- To create accounts, authenticate you and determine your permission level.
- To perform the core functions of the Service.
- To send operational and system notifications.
- To prevent unauthorised access, protect against fraud and diagnose errors.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your personal data for advertising, we do not sell it to third parties, and we do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
3. Sharing of data
We share data with third parties only in the following cases:
- Google and Apple — to verify your identity when you use social sign-in.
- Notification delivery services — Expo, Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging. Only a device identifier and the notification content are transmitted.
- Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, email delivery and mapping services, which process data only on our behalf and under contract.
- Law enforcement authorities — where required by a lawful request.
4. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active. After you delete your account, personal data is deleted or anonymised.
Records that we are required to keep by law are retained for the period prescribed by law.
5. Your rights
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data — most of it can be edited directly in your in-app profile.
- Delete your account entirely.
- Opt out of notifications at any time from your device settings.
- Request a copy of your data.
To delete your account, open Settings → Delete account in the app. Deletion cannot be undone. You may also contact us at the email address below.
6. Security
Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are stored using an irreversible hash. Access is restricted by role and sign-in activity is logged.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you suspect your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
7. Children's data
The Service is not directed at people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn that such data has been collected in error, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you in advance in the app or by email. We recommend reviewing the last-updated date at the top of this page.
